Covered Arena

The Covered Arena serves multiple purposes.  There are three primary areas: 

The riding activity area has mulched tires and crusher run for a surface. The tarps roll up on two sides, and there is a ramp (for wheel chair access) on the south side.  Since we did therapeutic riding for people with special needs, there is also an observation area for parents or guardians.

There are currently nine stalls in the Covered Arena ranging from small stalls for ponies to the traditional 12 x 12 stall size.  All the stalls have access to heated Nelson waterers and are padded. The five stalls on the east side of the barn (adjacent to run # 5) have removable backs that can serve as "run ins."  However, this area is extremely flexible as stall walls are modular and could be totally removed--or additional stalls could be added in the area which is currently open for riding/training activities.  

A very large insulated tack room and storage area is air-conditioned and has hot and cold running water available in the utility sink.  This is a great storage area and a nice retreat from the extremities.
